This position will involve close collaboration with our Recruiting and People teams to design, implement, and enhance automated processes and AI solutions. By streamlining repetitive tasks, you will enable our teams to focus on more strategic initiatives that drive our organizational goals.

What you'll do
- Develop and oversee AI-driven workflows and automation processes using tools such as Claude, Claude Code, Dust, and Zapier to minimize manual tasks in Recruiting and People operations.
- Take charge of the Dust agent framework for the People team, ensuring the development and upkeep of agents, skills, and connections that support recruiters, coordinators, hiring managers, and People partners.
- Convert team ideas and concepts into structured, documented, and widely adopted operational workflows.
- Create automations that span the entire recruiting lifecycle, including outreach, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and offer management processes.
- Collaborate technically on Ashby-based workflows, utilizing the Applicant Tracking System as a key automation platform alongside Dust and Claude.
- Identify and act on opportunities for automation within People processes, rapidly prototyping solutions that may include AI-driven reporting and candidate communication enhancements.
- Work in conjunction with the People Systems team to develop automations that interact with system architecture or data structures, without directly managing those configurations.
- Partner with People Operations to automate workflows that enhance their process execution and efficiency.
- Help structure and maintain the knowledge base (Confluence/Guru) that supports AI agents and automations in collaboration with the Recruiting and People Operations teams.
- Assess, test, and implement new AI and workflow tools as they emerge in the market, focusing on those that can significantly alleviate team workload.
- Set clear operational protocols for the launch, documentation, and ongoing maintenance of automations and agents.
- Share your insights and successful strategies with the team to contribute to our collective AI knowledge.
- Build user-friendly technical solutions using workflow builders, scripts, and integrations across our recruiting and People tool stack, including Ashby, TeamOhana, Juicebox, LinkedIn, Zapier, Checkr, Jira, HiBob, and Workday.
Requirements
- Proven experience in creating AI workflows, automations, or agents within a business operations context, with a history of successfully deployed solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Claude Code or similar AI development environments, extending beyond basic AI writing or research tasks.
- Ability to translate intricate, manual business processes into scalable workflows or internal tools that are widely adopted.
- Technical skills in an operational environment, capable of delivering solutions independently without a dedicated engineering team.
- Experience in Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, People, or HR functions, collaborating effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
- A solid understanding of ATS-driven workflows, particularly with systems like Ashby or similar platforms, is advantageous.
- Good judgment in determining when AI is the best solution compared to traditional automation, scripting, or process redesign.
- A track record of driving the adoption of your solutions, ensuring they are not only launched but also consistently utilized.
- Comfort with ambiguity, as this role will require defining processes and establishing new patterns as the function evolves.
- A background in analytics or data science is a plus.
- A curious mindset and a willingness to learn, with a focus on applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for future employer sponsorship.
