Manager, Sales Development

About the role

Vanta is seeking a leader to guide our Sales Development team as we scale our presence in the security automation market. You will oversee a group of representatives focused on the VMB, SMB, and Enterprise segments across North America.

What you'll do

• Mentor and manage a team of high-performing Sales Development Representatives.
• Refine prospecting playbooks and implement new strategies to increase deal sizes and revenue.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training efforts for new team members.
• Conduct weekly forecasting sessions and provide strategic guidance on pipeline generation.
• Develop personalized growth plans for direct reports to foster talent.
• Collaborate across departments to improve outcomes for North American prospects.
• Partner with sales leadership to build an agile organization that iterates quickly.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of total sales experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a management or leadership capacity.
• Background in B2B SaaS sales and sales management.
• Experience prospecting across various market segments and personas.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve complex problems.
• Technical aptitude to understand Vanta software and the governance, risk, and compliance space.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
