About the role
This position serves as the primary People Business Partner for Vanta's Post-Sales leadership, including Account Management, Customer Success, and Support. You will act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, guiding them in building and scaling effective teams within a rapidly growing company.

What you'll do
Advise and coach the SVP of Post-Sales and their direct reports on people-related strategies.
Manage headcount planning for the Post-Sales organization in collaboration with Finance, RevOps, and Recruiting.
Provide guidance on performance management, organizational change, employee relations, talent development, and manager effectiveness.
Help cultivate a culture of high performance, focusing on initiatives that boost employee engagement and retention.
Analyze workforce data, such as attrition and performance metrics, to inform business decisions.
Assess organizational structure and efficiency to support scaling efforts.
Oversee key People programs like performance reviews, compensation cycles, and talent reviews for the Post-Sales group.
Collaborate with cross-functional People teams and other Go-To-Market People Business Partners to ensure alignment.
Contribute to the development and improvement of People Business Partner programs and practices.
Requirements
Possess 8-10+ years of experience as a People Business Partner, with direct experience supporting VP-level leaders in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Have prior experience partnering with organizations such as Pre-Sales, Customer Success, Account Management, or Support.
Demonstrate the ability to translate business objectives into actionable people strategies and organizational plans.
Exhibit deep knowledge of HR fundamentals, including performance management, employee relations, workforce planning, compensation, and talent development.
Show strong business understanding, particularly of metrics relevant to post-sales functions like retention and customer health.
Have experience leading organizational design and restructuring initiatives, including managing change communications.
Be skilled at influencing senior leaders without direct authority.
Be comfortable developing structured approaches for complex decisions such as compensation, leveling, and organizational changes.
Be able to work independently and structure approaches for loosely defined requests.
Be adept at analyzing data and presenting clear, actionable insights, including using AI tools.
Demonstrate a proactive approach and a track record of execution.
Be open to utilizing AI to enhance work efficiency and impact, showing curiosity and sound judgment.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future employer sponsorship.
