About the role
Vanta is seeking a GRC Pre-Sales Consultant to join our London team. In this role, you will act as a technical advisor, helping customers understand and implement Vanta's GRC solutions. This position is ideal for GRC professionals looking to apply their expertise in a client-facing sales engineering capacity.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage technical relationships with commercial prospects and customers.
- Gain deep knowledge of Vanta's product features, integrations, and competitive landscape.
- Provide product feedback to the development team based on customer insights.
- Guide customers through their trial period with Vanta.
- Create product examples, documentation, and other resources for customers.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Develop new strategies to improve the transition from pre-sales to post-sales.
Requirements
- Ability to work from the London office three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
- Five or more years of customer-facing technical experience in a solutions or sales engineering role.
- Prior experience with B2B SaaS products.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux), along with cloud application architecture.
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of success in a startup environment.
- Creative, technical, and persuasive communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented and organized approach to work.
- Eagerness to engage with customers, discuss strategy, and address technical specifics.
- General knowledge of a scripting language (Python, Ruby, Bash, or JavaScript) with an interest in skill development.
- Full professional proficiency in German to support DACH market accounts.

- Familiarity with REST API development and service integrations.
- Previous experience in the cybersecurity field.
