(Sr.) DevOps Engineer

About the role

This position is for a DevOps Engineer to join a multinational team supporting Fortune 500 clients. You will be part of the Software Development and Engineering department, focusing on maintaining the build system and internal services. The role involves collaborating with software teams to improve reliability and implement strong development practices using Infrastructure as Code.

What you'll do

• Manage site reliability and uptime for various systems.
• Maintain and automate continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
• Monitor systems and apply necessary patches.
• Communicate system downtime and patching schedules to internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform system upgrades and implement new tools.
• Address various DevOps-related issues as they arise.
• Roll out features, fixes, and updates within an Agile sprint cycle.
• Collaborate with an international team to integrate new tools and support existing ones.
• Communicate with stakeholders to gather requirements and schedule system changes.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and assist stakeholders with any errors encountered.
• Proactively identify system irregularities, investigate them, and report findings.

Requirements

• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Familiarity with AKS, Azure DevOps Pipeline, and VM management in Azure.
• Background as a build engineer with experience in modern CI/CD toolchains.
• Experience with Helm charts.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Go, and Bash scripting.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and automation.
• Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience, including version upgrades, certificate upgrades, and mitigating issues in infrastructure.
• Experience with Agile Scrum or Kanban development models.
• Experience deploying and using Artifactory, SonarQube, Bitbucket, and Jira.
• Professional level verbal and written communication skills in English.
