DevOps Engineer - 100% Remote

This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and are adept at managing complex systems. You will play a critical role in supporting our premier client and ensuring the smooth operation of their infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure solutions to support production applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline CI/CD processes and enhance system performance.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in a DevOps role.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python and Go, along with technologies like MySQL, Java, Tomcat, Apache, and Splunk for system monitoring.
• Proven experience in managing a 24/7 production web application environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
• In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or Salt, as well as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong familiarity with AWS services including EC2, RDS, CloudFront, CloudWatch, and DynamoDB, as well as container orchestration using ECS.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, and Nexus.
