About the role
You will manage the technical infrastructure supporting performance marketing, including paid acquisition, paid social, and SEO. This position focuses on optimizing tagging, tracking, and data governance while integrating AI-driven workflows into the broader marketing ecosystem. You will report to the Head of Marketing Technology and act as a senior individual contributor working across engineering, data, legal, and privacy departments.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage Google Tag Manager from end to end, including pixel deployment and tracking to improve signal quality and match rates.
- Collaborate with channel teams to design browser-side and server-side measurement, including Conversion API setups and data synchronization across platforms like Meta, Google, LinkedIn, and Reddit.
- Lead initiatives involving tracking architecture, customer data platform integrations, and consent signal management.
- Develop and deploy AI-enabled workflows for campaign support, segmentation, and personalization with human oversight.
- Research and implement AI tools, agent frameworks, and model orchestration methods such as MCP.
- Work with Legal and Privacy teams to incorporate compliance requirements into marketing data collection and AI workflows.
- Establish operational processes like office hours and intake systems to support marketing team efficiency.
- Draft and maintain data-flow documentation and Privacy Impact Assessments, detailing data origins, transfer mechanisms, and regulatory controls.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in marketing technology, specifically with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, server-side tagging, and data layer design.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects as a senior individual contributor.
- Technical proficiency in SQL and analytics tools, with a history of troubleshooting data pipelines alongside engineering teams.
- Experience integrating AI into technical workflows, including prompt design and testing to maintain execution quality.
- Ability to document data flows and Privacy Impact Assessments in alignment with legal and regulatory standards.
- Strong judgment regarding when to automate versus simplify to avoid operational debt.

Practical notes
