Merchant Analytics Manager
Job description
About the role

You will act as the primary analytical voice for key verticals, designing studies that isolate true incremental profit and communicate sophisticated findings to non-technical stakeholders. This role requires you to build deep, trust-based relationships with merchant partners by actively listening to their business challenges and framing insights that drive their strategic decisions. You will pioneer new analysis approaches as the marketplace expands into emerging sectors, ensuring our methodologies keep pace with market evolution. You will leverage rigorous experimentation and data modeling to answer critical business questions around customer acquisition and retention. You will translate complex analytical outputs into actionable recommendations that directly inform product and marketing initiatives. Through consistent collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, you will ensure that data integrity and clarity guide every major initiative. Your work will directly influence how Upside articulates its value proposition and optimizes the two-sided marketplace for long-term success.
