What you'll do
Transactions undergo review for ASC-606 revenue standard compliance so revenue recognition policy is applied consistently.
Gross-to-net accruals and related reserve analyses undergo preparation and review to ensure reserves reflect actual performance.
Product sales and collaboration arrangements receive revenue recognition support to align with contract terms and standards.
Assigned internal controls undergo performance and maintenance on a monthly basis to safeguard assets and ensure integrity.
Financial reporting receives assistance during the month-end close process to meet reporting deadlines.
Aging reports undergo analysis and collection efforts are performed as needed to manage revenue risk.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree or equivalent is the minimum qualification.
Three or more years of accounting experience demonstrates foundational proficiency.
Experience with pharmaceutical/biotech revenue models, such as product revenue, gross-to-net, rebates, chargebacks, distributor arrangements, returns reserves, and government pricing is preferred.
ERP systems and revenue subledger tools experience is preferred.
Public company, SOX, or external audit experience is a preferred qualification.
The CPA track or CPA certification is preferred.
Advanced Excel, PowerPoint & Word are used effectively in daily workflows.
Strong analytical skills interpret data and drive decisions.
Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or similar ERP experience is a preferred skill.
Practical notes
