This role centers on managing transportation schedules and optimizing load planning for customer locations. You will act as the primary contact between customers, warehouse staff, and dispatch teams to ensure efficient network operations.

What you'll do
- Analyze daily reports to build balanced transportation schedules.
- Coordinate delivery appointments with customers and log interactions in Salesforce.
- Partner with manufacturing and warehouse teams to meet operational goals.
- Select LTL carriers based on cost, service levels, and availability.
- Update shipment data in the TMS to maintain accurate execution.
- Liaise with dispatchers and customer service to manage operational shifts.
- Uphold safety standards and DOT regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to efficiency improvements regarding carrier performance.
- Attend recurring meetings to track service level agreements and performance metrics.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation coordination, or customer service, OR a bachelor's degree.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Calendar) and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel).
- Ability to solve problems and communicate effectively.
Nice to have
- Experience with SAP, FourKites, BlueYonder, or Salesforce.
- Familiarity with FTL, LTL, and multimodal planning.
- Background in large-scale supply chain or distribution operations.
