About the role
Uber Freight is hiring a Logistics Specialist to manage daily shipping operations and ensure timely freight delivery. You will coordinate with carriers and internal teams to resolve transit issues while maintaining accurate data within our systems.

What you'll do
- Execute daily shipment tasks using a Transportation Management System.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of loads from planning to final delivery.
- Handle real-time transit challenges such as delays or carrier errors.
- Act as the primary point of contact for shipping sites and internal stakeholders.
- Prioritize high-volume email traffic and urgent operational requests.
- Troubleshoot issues across Truckload, Less-Than-Truckload, rail, bulk, and specialized freight.
- Update shipment logs, rate sheets, and operational records.
- Investigate and correct billing or invoice discrepancies.
- Suggest process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in supply chain, logistics, or transportation.
- Intermediate proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple digital workflows.
Nice to have
- Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- 2 or more years of experience in the logistics or transportation industry.
- Prior experience operating a Transportation Management System.
- Advanced skills in Google Sheets or Excel.
- Background in hazardous materials, bulk, chemical, gas, or rail freight.
