What you'll do

• Define and execute the product strategy for the Create & Design experience, aligning with the company's overall vision.
• Enhance the builder to be the premier environment for crafting compelling and interactive content.
• Develop and scale shared functionalities that support creation across current and future product areas.
• Collaborate with the Typeform AI team to embed AI-driven design, content generation, and workflow enhancements into the builder.
• Guide the evolution of AI's role in empowering creators while ensuring high-quality, human-centric experiences.
• Oversee significant platform initiatives and technical transitions alongside customer-facing product development.
• Work closely with engineering and design to balance product quality with technical demands.
• Formulate the long-term vision for content creation at Typeform and prioritize investments accordingly.
• Stay informed about advancements in AI, design tools, creator platforms, and productivity software to identify new opportunities.
• Partner with engineering, design, research, marketing, customer success, and commercial teams.

Requirements

• Proven ability to think strategically about product, with strong instincts and a high degree of ownership.
• Experience developing creation tools, editors, design-focused products, or similar customer-facing platforms.
• Demonstrated skill in platform thinking and identifying scalable shared capabilities.
• Deep appreciation for product design and user experience, with the capacity to balance speed and quality.
• An AI-first mindset, actively using and understanding LLMs and AI tools as fundamental shifts in product development.
• Experience collaborating with engineering on technically intricate products, migrations, or platform investments.
• Comfort discussing trade-offs related to performance, reliability, scalability, and technical architecture.
• A customer-centric approach with strong discovery skills and data-informed decision-making.
• Excellent storytelling and communication abilities to align teams around a shared vision.
• Collaborative leadership style focused on influence.
• High initiative and ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations.
• Proficiency in product craft, including writing specifications, defining success metrics, and driving execution.
• Experience working effectively with distributed teams.
• A commitment to continuous learning, curiosity, and collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience building products like Figma, Canva, Notion, Webflow, Framer, Squarespace, or comparable creation platforms.
• Experience in platformizing shared capabilities across multiple products.
• Experience launching AI-assisted creation features.
• Experience with real-time collaboration or modern editor architectures.
• Experience developing multilingual or localization products.
