Lead System Accountant

About the role

You will manage the financial systems architecture to ensure data accuracy and operational efficiency. This position focuses on the integration and maintenance of the tools that support our accounting, treasury, and tax functions.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Manage the finance system stack including Chargebee, Avalara, payment gateways, NetSuite, and Pigment.
• Oversee API connections and Workato workflows to guarantee precise data synchronization.
• Perform daily audits of system logs and verify that logical access controls are functioning correctly.
• Update and document all internal financial systems policies.
• Partner with IT and finance colleagues to address operational needs.
• Resolve technical issues within financial platforms.
• Provide training and guidance to finance staff regarding system usage and procedures.

Requirements

• Demonstrated background in a finance-focused systems role.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Capacity to handle multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines.
• A flexible, customer-oriented, and self-driven approach to work.
• Proven leadership ability.

Nice to have

• Prior experience working with NetSuite or Chargebee.
• Professional history in the SaaS or subscription industry.
• Familiarity with Spanish tax regulations and compliance requirements.
