Senior Accountant, Content Accounting

About the role

Twitch is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team and help integrate GenAI into our financial operations. You will manage the full lifecycle of content accounting, from initial contract review to final payout, while driving process improvements and technical accounting accuracy.

What you'll do

• Verify contractual records and document the application of accounting policies to specific terms.
• Execute month-end close tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and cost fluctuation narratives.
• Manage payout processing, ensure tax compliance, and handle payment-related inquiries.
• Deploy GenAI tools to build and manage agentic workflows that optimize accounting processes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and transformation initiatives.
• Own ad-hoc projects and rotate through various business support functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or a related finance field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience within a public accounting firm or a high-growth company.
• Proven experience reviewing complex contracts such as leases or revenue agreements.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and familiarity with SQL.
• Strong ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for leadership.
• Demonstrated aptitude for building scalable processes and adopting new technologies.

Nice to have

• Active CPA license.
• Experience with SAP, QuickSight, Mode Analytics, or similar ERP and BI tools.
• Practical experience with emerging AI technologies like Claude Code, MCP, and agentic workflows.
• Familiarity with the creator economy as a Twitch user or creator.
