Staff Product Designer

About the role

Twilio is seeking a P4 Product Designer to join the Onboarding and Compliance team. You will lead the design of end-to-end features that improve how customers interact with our platform, ensuring a high-quality experience during onboarding and compliance workflows.

What you'll do

• Contribute to product roadmaps by applying customer and product insights.
• Independently scope and execute UI designs for complex, multi-state user experiences.
• Lead or co-lead user research to inform design decisions and uncover new opportunities.
• Collaborate with product and engineering partners to define project plans and meet delivery goals.
• Facilitate team discussions to solve design challenges and document decision-making processes.
• Evolve and maintain the design system as needed.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to lead user-centered design initiatives independently.
• Experience shipping high-quality, detail-oriented user interfaces and flows.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to provide constructive peer feedback.
• A builder mindset characterized by resilience and adaptability.

Nice to have

• 8+ years of industry experience in software interface design or development.
• Bachelor or Master degree in Human Computer Interaction or Design.
• Background working at a B2B SaaS company.

• Compensation:
• Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont, Washington D.C.: $159,210 - $176,900.
• New York, New Jersey, Washington State, California (outside SF Bay area): $168,570 - $187,300.
• San Francisco Bay area: $187,200 - $208,000.

• Travel: Approximately 5% travel is expected for team gatherings or customer meetings.
