About the role
This position is responsible for driving audience engagement and campaign success for Twilio's key customer events. You will develop and execute marketing strategies that encourage registration, attendance, and meaningful business outcomes. The ideal candidate is a data-oriented marketer skilled in crafting clear, engaging content and optimizing campaigns for performance.

What you'll do
Develop audience acquisition and engagement strategies for major customer events like SIGNAL, SIGNAL World Tour, and Exec Connect.
Create comprehensive event marketing plans utilizing channels such as email, web, paid media, social, sales outreach, and partner networks.
Manage event campaign timelines, messaging, audience segmentation, and channel selection in collaboration with various marketing and sales teams.
Write clear, on-brand marketing copy for event-related communications, including emails, web pages, registration flows, and sales enablement materials.
Work with Marketing Operations to implement campaigns, manage audience targeting, track registration progress, and ensure accurate lead capture and reporting.
Analyze campaign performance, registration trends, conversion rates, and business impact using tools like Salesforce, Tableau, and Excel.
Generate reports and dashboards to provide visibility into event marketing performance and identify areas for improvement.
Conduct tests and optimize messaging, channels, audience segments, and engagement tactics to enhance registration, attendance, and business results.
Collaborate with Field Marketing and regional teams to adapt global campaign strategies for local market needs.
Support executive event communications by acting as a marketing consultant and central point of contact.
Coordinate with Corporate Communications, Social Media, PR, and other teams to broaden event reach and ensure consistent messaging.
Design sales activation and employee advocacy programs to encourage internal teams to drive event attendance.
Create scalable event marketing playbooks, templates, and best practices for future use.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in marketing, growth marketing, demand generation, field marketing, campaign marketing, or event marketing.
3+ years of experience supporting B2B events, customer events, field events, executive events, or event-driven marketing campaigns.
Proven experience building integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels like email, web, digital, social, paid media, sales activation, field marketing, or partner channels.
Solid understanding of the B2B marketing funnel, including audience segmentation, lead capture, conversion, attribution, pipeline influence, and ROI measurement.
Experience with marketing and reporting tools such as Marketo, Salesforce, Tableau, Excel, or similar platforms.
Proficient in Excel for data manipulation, trend identification, performance comparison, and stakeholder reporting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and compelling marketing copy.
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with teams including Growth Marketing, Digital Marketing, Marketing Operations, Product Marketing, Brand, Corporate Communications, Sales, Field Marketing, Developer Relations, or regional teams.
Strong analytical skills to measure performance, identify opportunities, test new approaches, and optimize campaigns.
Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, stakeholders, and campaign dependencies in a dynamic environment.
Experience creating playbooks, templates, best practices, and repeatable campaign processes.
Nice to have
Experience supporting large-scale B2B technology, SaaS, developer, customer, or global event programs.
Familiarity with event registration platforms like Swoogo or similar.
Experience with event apps or attendee engagement platforms such as Amego or similar.
Experience supporting regional or global campaigns requiring localization across different markets.
Experience partnering with Sales or Field Marketing on account-based marketing, priority account targeting, sales enablement, or event attendance goals.
Experience using AI tools to enhance campaign development, content iteration, audience analysis, reporting, or marketing workflows.
A creative approach with a strong understanding of brand voice, audience engagement, and effective marketing strategies.

Approximately 15% travel is anticipated.
Compensation ranges vary by
Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C.: $87,840 - $109,900.
New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside of San Francisco Bay Area): $92,960 - $116,200.
San Francisco Bay Area, California: $103,200 - $129,000.
This role may be eligible for Twilio's equity plan and corporate bonus plan.
