Deal Desk Senior Analyst at Twilio.
About the role
Twilio is seeking a financial analyst to join the Deal Desk team and support the LATAM Go-to-Market strategy. This position focuses on financial governance and the structuring of commercial agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for customers and the company. You will collaborate with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations to optimize margins while maintaining compliance with internal policies.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop financial models and pricing scenarios for standard and non-standard contracts, accounting for discounts, terms, usage, and gross margin.
- Work with Sales to structure deals that balance risk, volume, and price within financial guardrails.
- Enforce internal contracting policies, approval matrices, and discount governance.
- Manage the end-to-end operational workflow in Salesforce and CPQ, including quote generation, pricing approvals, Order Form creation, and DocuSign execution.
- Build relationships with Legal, Billing Operations, and Corporate Finance to improve deal velocity.
- Review non-standard contract language in Order Forms to ensure alignment with revenue recognition and risk policies.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.
- Lead cross-functional projects to refine Deal Desk systems and internal processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree with at least 3 years of experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, Commercial Finance, or Deal Desk.
- If no degree is held, a minimum of 5 years of relevant analytical experience is required.
- Professional proficiency or fluency in English.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for building logic formulas and scenario models.
- Strong ability to explain financial tradeoffs clearly.
- Detail-oriented approach with the capacity to manage multiple high-velocity requests under tight deadlines.
