DevOps Engineer

About the role

TSR Consulting is seeking a DevOps Engineer to manage and scale infrastructure across diverse cloud environments. You will focus on automation, security, and system reliability while supporting enterprise clients through our global delivery model.

What you'll do

• Deploy and maintain infrastructure across multiple cloud providers using Terraform.
• Manage customer environments by executing and troubleshooting Ansible playbooks.
• Handle version control and merge requests using GitLab across multiple repositories.
• Build and deploy containerized services via Docker and Kubernetes.
• Analyze traffic flow data to resolve connectivity issues between hosted environments and customers.
• Create technical documentation, including standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and configuration management for multi-tenant cloud setups.
• Use generative AI tools to improve resource management, security, and operational speed.
• Apply a security-first approach to all infrastructure tasks, including IAM and least privilege implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 to 8 plus years of experience with Python, Terraform, Ansible, Concourse CI/CD, Vault, and identity management.
• Deep understanding of Unix and Linux internals, including filesystems, system calls, and hardening.
• Proficiency in networking concepts such as TCP/IP, routing, DNS, and network topologies.
• Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, Route53, VPC), Azure (Virtual Networks, Application Gateway, Storage, Load Balancer), and GCP (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage).
• Ability to design RBAC and manage user provisioning.
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow.

• Expertise in analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• Ability to optimize code and automate routine tasks.
