About the role
Trustly is seeking a senior security expert to join our team as we integrate advanced AI and LLM technologies into our financial payment infrastructure. You will focus on securing our deployment of Claude, Model Context Protocol implementations, and agentic workflows to ensure our AI-driven transformation remains safe and compliant.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Conduct security assessments and manage risks for AI systems, including LLMs, agentic workflows, and AI-assisted developer tools.
- Establish security controls, access governance, and monitoring frameworks to prevent prompt injection, data leakage, and model misuse.
- Collaborate with the AI Enablement team to perform threat modeling and architectural reviews during the feature development lifecycle.
- Create and maintain security monitoring tools to detect real-time anomalous model behavior and unauthorized data access.
- Author AI security standards and training materials to guide engineering teams in building safe AI applications.
- Monitor the evolving landscape of AI security research, including new attack vectors and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in security engineering.
- 2-3 years of specific experience in AI/ML security, LLM security, or securing data-intensive systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of AI threat vectors such as jailbreaking, data poisoning, model exfiltration, and insecure agentic tool use.
- Proficiency in threat modeling, secure design reviews, penetration testing, and building security monitoring infrastructure.
- Experience with Model Context Protocol architecture, LLM orchestration frameworks, and agentic deployment patterns.
- Demonstrated ability to operate at a Staff level, influencing cross-team architecture and security strategy.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex security risks to diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders.
