Integrations Engineer

About the role

This position focuses on building and implementing custom data connections for clients. You will be the technical lead in client onboarding, ensuring smooth data flow and system compatibility.

What you'll do

• Architect, build, and deploy bespoke data connections to meet specific client needs.
• Collaborate with the Implementations team to define project scope, estimate effort, and set delivery schedules.
• Write efficient, secure, and scalable code following established engineering standards.
• Develop integrations with operational efficiency in mind, facilitating smooth transitions to support teams.
• Create reusable tools and scripts to improve the efficiency of integration projects.
• Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all implemented solutions.
• Serve as a technical point of contact for complex integration issues, providing expert resolution.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a technical role like Integrations Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Consultant.
• Expert command of Python, with significant experience in Golang or a comparable compiled language, and familiarity with Java.
• Deep understanding of SQL and experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Extensive practical experience integrating with third-party APIs.
• Proven ability to use cloud technologies, advanced scripting, and automation to solve business challenges.
• Experience designing, implementing, or administering Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions.
• Strong knowledge of system architecture, data security, and API design best practices.
• Demonstrated success in delivering complex technical enterprise solutions that align with business objectives.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous situations, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Experience with building and maintaining data pipelines.
