Sr. Engineer I

About the role

This position involves creating the primary digital interface for consumers to manage their financial obligations. You will be a key contributor in building a user-focused payment system that handles high transaction volumes.

What you'll do

• Design and construct the user-facing web experience for payment processing.
• Implement new payment features, such as flexible payment arrangements and alternative payment methods.
• Take full ownership of product features from planning through to deployment and ongoing support.
• Translate product needs into technical designs and contribute to the team's development plans.
• Write and maintain high-quality code, and provide constructive feedback in code reviews.
• Identify and address technical debt within the codebase.
• Share knowledge and mentor other engineers.
• Ensure system stability through testing and on-call support.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficient in Golang.
• Proficient in React.
• Strong understanding of front-end development and user interface design principles.
• Experience with microservices, distributed systems, and data modeling.
• Ability to work independently and solve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical discussions.
