Deliverability Specialist

About the role

Trueml is building financial software to improve the experience for borrowers. This role supports our digital communication channels, Email and SMS, by managing daily operations and client interactions. You will help senior specialists focus on strategy and system improvements.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Act as a daily contact for clients and internal teams, handling communications, updates, and task tracking.
• Assist with setting up and onboarding new clients for email services, and manage a portion of lower-complexity accounts.
• Monitor daily email performance and deliverability, flagging any unusual activity.
• Support SMS onboarding, integrations, and setup processes, including 10DLC and Short Code.
• Track daily SMS performance and data quality, and help gather requirements from stakeholders.
• Analyze daily data for Email and SMS to spot trends, performance changes, or risks.
• Prepare regular reports and summaries of channel performance.
• Validate operational requirements before new features or client launches.
• Maintain standard operating procedures, runbooks, and client documentation.
• Manage incoming requests and assist with coordinating responses to incidents.
• Provide backup support for routine tasks across Email and SMS when team members are unavailable.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in operations, client support, campaign management, or a similar coordination role.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while paying close attention to detail.
• Familiarity with performance dashboards and reporting to identify trends and issues.
• Some understanding of email deliverability concepts like bounce rates, complaints, and reputation, or a strong desire to learn.
• Exposure to or interest in learning SMS compliance and setup, such as 10DLC and Short Code.
• Experience with or ability to quickly learn platforms like ESPs, CPaaS (e.g., Twilio), or marketing operations tools.
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort working with SQL and Python for basic data analysis and automation.
