About the role
You will define and execute the strategy for consumer-facing payment journeys within our Pay by Bank network. This role involves collaborating with engineering, design, and commercial teams to ensure our payment flows are reliable, intuitive, and effective for millions of users.

What you'll do
- Design the Payments API that serves as the foundation for our merchant integrations and user interfaces.
- Lead the product roadmap for consumer payments from initiation through to settlement.
- Partner with external merchants and internal stakeholders to build user journeys that optimize conversion rates.
- Analyze user behavior and feedback to identify friction points and implement improvements.
- Manage the sprint planning and backlog for the PayIns Engineering team.
- Define and track success metrics to ensure accountability and performance across your product area.
- Balance regulatory requirements with technical delivery and user experience goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in product management, ideally within fintech or a regulated technology environment.
- Experience building and managing public-facing APIs.
- Ability to manage product delivery where success depends on complex third-party or partner integrations.
- Understanding of payment flows and the broader financial ecosystem.
- Ability to build consensus and communicate effectively across technical, compliance, and commercial teams.
