TrueLayer is seeking a Financial Reporting Specialist to join its growing finance operations team. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company's expansion. You will contribute to building scalable financial processes that underpin our rapid growth.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Record financial transactions and reconcile all company bank accounts using NetSuite, ensuring the main group reconciliation sheet is accurate and completed monthly.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including processing supplier payments, handling invoices, and gathering financial details from suppliers.
• Assist with credit control activities and follow up on outstanding payments to improve debt management.
• Review employee expense reports, verifying compliance with company policies and correct cost center assignments.
• Aid the Financial Accountant in preparing for audits and the annual reporting cycle by gathering transaction documentation and preparing schedules for external review.

Requirements

• English language proficiency at C1 level.
• A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting or a comparable role, or equivalent work experience.
• Prior experience with bookkeeping or accounting.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets or Excel.
• Strong organizational abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Capacity to work independently, solve problems, and adopt a solution-oriented approach.
• Commitment to supporting team and business objectives.
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on business needs.
• Experience using NetSuite or a similar accounting software.

Nice to have

• Experience working within a startup or small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) environment.
