About the role

TrueLayer is a Pay by Bank network provider currently expanding its global operations. This role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the scaling of our finance function as we grow across new markets.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Document financial transactions and perform monthly reconciliations for all corporate bank accounts within NetSuite.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including handling supplier payments and invoices.
• Oversee credit control activities to manage and reduce outstanding debt.
• Audit employee travel and expense submissions to ensure policy compliance and proper cost center coding.
• Assist the Financial Accountant with audit preparation and the annual reporting cycle by organizing documentation and schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Professional experience in financial reporting, bookkeeping, or a comparable accounting role.
• Proficiency in English at a C1 level.
• Ability to work independently with a focus on problem-solving and task prioritization.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in a startup or SME environment.
• Working knowledge of AP, AR, and double-entry bookkeeping principles.

Skills & tools

• NetSuite or similar accounting software.
• Google Sheets and Excel.
