Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain the agent harness, including system prompt libraries, skill definitions, and AGENTS.md files.
- Create MCP servers to provide agents with secure, real-time access to internal databases, APIs, and deployment states.
- Build and version internal tool libraries that define how we test, review, and operate software.
- Design golden paths and orchestration patterns to ensure agent capabilities are measurable and reliable.
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for agent-scale workloads through caching, parallelization, and remote execution.
- Implement evaluation harnesses to benchmark agent performance, including regression suites and task-specific metrics.
- Establish oversight policies, guardrails, and permission boundaries to ensure secure, least-privilege agent operations.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on platform engineering, infrastructure, or developer experience.
- Proven track record of building and operating autonomous agent systems, including tool-use schemas and orchestration pipelines.
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Ability to treat prompt and context engineering as a disciplined, version-controlled engineering practice.
- Strong written communication skills for documenting architectural decisions and complex workflows.
Nice to have
- Experience with agent orchestration frameworks like LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
- Background in measuring developer experience and engineering velocity.
- Familiarity with evaluation frameworks such as LangSmith or Braintrust.
- Knowledge of LLM cost modeling, including token budget design and retrieval strategies.
- Security or compliance experience within a regulated industry, preferably fintech.
- Experience scaling CI/CD pipelines under high load.
