In this position, you will become an expert in the customer support operations and data at Tricon Solutions. Your role will involve transforming complex business inquiries into actionable analyses and deliverables, while also developing metrics to assess the effectiveness of customer support and operational performance.

What you'll do
- Develop a deep understanding of customer support operations and platform data to identify value creation areas.
- Convert ambiguous business inquiries into clear analyses and deliverables, establishing metrics for customer support and operational performance.
- Create and maintain dashboards that highlight essential insights for stakeholders in support and analytics.
- Utilize statistical methods to assess program effectiveness, support operational choices, and uncover trends in customer and user behavior.
- Implement LLM- and agent-based strategies to automate repetitive analyses, enhance data exploration, and create self-service tools for stakeholders.
- Generate ad-hoc analyses and reports that empower teams to make informed, timely decisions.
- Clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, simplifying complex data into actionable insights.
Requirements
- A background in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst in a data-centric environment.
- Proficient in SQL with the ability to write and optimize complex queries.
- Working knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation tasks.
- Experience in building dashboards and visualizations, preferably using AWS QuickSight.
- Strong foundation in statistical design and analysis, including experiment design, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis.
- Capability to manage mid-to-complex tasks from initial ambiguity to final results with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to produce insights that drive decision-making.
- Some familiarity with AWS environments, including S3 and Redshift.
- Practical experience with LLMs and agentic AI concepts, such as prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and building or integrating agent workflows.
- Knowledge of applying agentic patterns to real analytics scenarios, such as text-to-SQL, automated report generation, or conversational data assistants, is highly desirable.
