About the role

Join Traba as a founding member of the AI Agents team, building the core agentic platform that powers our product. You will create the AI agents and the underlying infrastructure that synthesizes marketplace data and autonomously operates within customer supply chain workflows. Your work will directly impact how the global supply chain functions at scale.

What you'll do

• Work closely with customers and operators to understand current supply chain processes and then design and implement agents that automate significant tasks.
• Develop production-ready agent systems using advanced LLMs, incorporating tool use, sub-agents, retrieval, structured outputs, and orchestration.
• Establish robust evaluation processes, including creating datasets from real system traces, defining rubrics, conducting experiments, and demonstrating measurable improvements.
• Design the data architecture, services, and APIs for the agent layer, integrating Traba's internal systems with customer WMS, TMS, and ERP environments.
• Develop standardized deployment methods to accelerate customer onboarding for future rollouts.

Requirements

• At least one year of software engineering experience, with a proven history of deploying LLM- or agent-based features into production.
• Strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript/Node.js, with experience in designing APIs, distributed systems, and data models using PostgreSQL.
• Practical experience with modern agent technology, including production-level prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, orchestration patterns, and frontier model APIs.
• Demonstrated ability to build solutions in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, ideally within a vertical AI, AI-agent, forward-deployed, or data-product company.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of leading customer workshops and producing clear design documentation.
