About the role
Join our engineering group to build intelligent robotics and autonomous systems for material handling equipment. You will design and implement software that powers advanced operator assistance, computer vision, and robotic platforms within a collaborative, hands-on environment.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Create high-performance software components in C++ for real-time data processing.
- Build robotic and autonomous applications using ROS2 and DDS.
- Integrate software with hardware including LiDAR, cameras, sensors, and embedded controllers.
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, machine learning, and embedded engineering teams.
- Lead technical development for assigned components and resolve complex architectural challenges.
- Develop algorithms for navigation, localization, and path planning.
- Author technical documentation, including system designs, validation plans, and test procedures.
- Conduct hardware and software validation and analyze performance data.
- Mentor team members and research new technologies for future product development.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
- At least 2 years of professional experience with C++, Python, or C#.
- Proficiency in Linux environments and Git version control.
- Experience working with hardware interfaces and robotic platforms.
- Understanding of autonomous path-planning and localization.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a multidisciplinary team.
Nice to have
- Experience with ROS2, DDS, or robotic middleware.
- Background in perception, AI, or machine learning algorithms.
- Knowledge of RTOS, embedded Linux, or multithreaded programming.
- Familiarity with safety-critical development or automotive processes.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, or DevOps.
- Prior work in industrial automation, autonomous vehicles, or material handling.
- Experience integrating radar, IMUs, GPS, or other sensor arrays.
