About the role

This position involves architecting and implementing automated solutions within the Microsoft 365 suite, with a focus on enhancing SharePoint functionality through AI and robust governance. You will transform static document storage into an intelligent, managed, and automated workspace.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Construct and manage SharePoint environments, including sites, document repositories, and information structures.
• Develop automated processes using Power Automate and the broader Power Platform.
• Integrate and optimize Microsoft Copilot features within SharePoint and across Microsoft 365.
• Establish data protection, information security, and compliance measures using Microsoft Purview.
• Define and enforce policies for data categorization, retention, and sensitivity labeling.
• Create automated workflows to streamline business operations.
• Address and resolve technical issues related to SharePoint, M365 automation, and Purview configurations.
• Partner with business units to identify automation needs and design technical solutions.
• Document system architecture, automation procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Keep abreast of updates and best practices for Microsoft 365, Copilot, and Purview.

Requirements

• Substantial experience with SharePoint architecture, administration, and site design.
• Proven ability with Microsoft 365 automation tools such as Power Automate and the Power Platform.
• Practical experience deploying and configuring Microsoft Copilot in M365 environments.
• Solid background in Microsoft Purview, covering data governance, compliance, and information protection.
• Understanding of data classification, retention schedules, and sensitivity labels.
• Capacity to translate business requirements into automated and governed technical systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Effective communication abilities for engaging with both technical and non-technical teams.

Nice to have

• Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert, SC-400, or PL-200.
• Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API for custom integrations.
• Prior experience supporting industries with strict compliance mandates.
