Packaging Program Lead - Life Sciences | Remote
About the role
This position seeks a dedicated leader to oversee packaging initiatives within the life sciences sector. You will be responsible for managing projects throughout their lifecycle, supporting product introductions after regulatory approval, and engaging in pre-filing activities. The goal is to eliminate project delays by establishing a single point of accountability for packaging across all ongoing projects.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Take ownership of all packaging-related tasks within the project portfolio and represent this area in relevant meetings.
- Manage the complete process for private label product launches, including all aspects of labeling, packaging design, and serialization.
- Drive the day-to-day progress of projects, resolving obstacles, escalating issues when necessary, and ensuring timelines are met.
- Collaborate effectively with a remote team providing managed packaging services.
- Establish a standardized and repeatable framework for delivering packaging programs.
- Conduct thorough reviews of technical information provided by stakeholders, verifying its accuracy and practicality.
- Adjust your approach to work in harmony with the diverse cultural styles of teams involved in development and commercial operations.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of project management experience within the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry, with knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), supply chain, and packaging processes.
- Experience managing labeling activities, full-cycle implementation, and project completion in regulated environments.
- Demonstrated ability to operate within a matrixed organizational structure, simultaneously managing multiple stakeholders and projects.
Nice to have
- A background in research and development or experience working in manufacturing site operations.
- Experience in developing solutions, structuring processes, and rigorously testing technical data.
