Oracle Integration Cloud

About the role

This position involves taking full ownership of enterprise integration projects, from initial planning and design through to implementation, migration, and ongoing support. You will independently architect and construct robust integrations connecting Oracle applications with various other business systems.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Construct integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud, including configuring adapters for Oracle and external systems.
• Develop integration flows that are triggered by schedules, events, batches, or APIs.
• Design data transformations, validation rules, and orchestration logic.
• Connect Oracle applications with platforms for ecommerce, ERP, CRM, finance, and supply chain management.
• Establish mechanisms for error handling, monitoring, logging, and alerts.
• Define data specifications and create technical documentation.
• Investigate and resolve integration and connectivity issues across different environments.
• Assist with deployments in development, testing, and production settings.
• Assess integration strategies, platform expenses, and alternative solutions.
• Work closely with application, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Significant practical experience with Oracle Integration Cloud, with a preference for OIC 3.
• Proven ability to build and deploy production-ready integration solutions.
• Experience with at least one Oracle enterprise application, such as JD Edwards, Oracle ERP Cloud, E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, or Siebel.
• Solid understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, webhooks, authentication methods, and data mapping techniques.
• Experience with various integration patterns including scheduled, event-driven, synchronous, and asynchronous.
• Familiarity with error management, system monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support.
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Strong communication abilities, skill in documentation, and capacity for independent problem-solving.

Nice to have

• Experience with JD Edwards adapters or JDE Orchestrator.
• Experience integrating with ecommerce platforms.
• Familiarity with OIC cost analysis or process automation.
• Experience migrating from Gen2 to Gen3 OIC.
• Experience integrating with OCI AI services or MCP.
