About the role

Tonies is the creator of the Toniebox, a screen-free audio system used by families in over 100 countries. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our finance department and manage accounts payable operations. You will ensure accurate bookkeeping and timely payments while helping us optimize financial processes during our ongoing growth.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Verify, code, and record incoming invoices using our digital workflow
• Process travel expenses and credit card statements according to tax regulations and internal policies
• Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Communicate with internal departments to reconcile open items on vendor accounts
• Manage payment transactions to ensure all deadlines are met
• Maintain vendor master data and handle general accounting tasks
• Participate in team meetings to identify and implement process improvements

Requirements

• Completed commercial vocational training in accounting or finance, or a relevant degree
• Professional experience in finance or accounting, specifically in accounts payable
• Knowledge of HGB accounting standards and tax law
• Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken
• Analytical, structured, and independent working style
• Strong sense of responsibility and initiative

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or SAP

• MS Office (advanced Excel skills required)
