About the role
This role involves embedding Tomorrow.io technology directly into U.S. defense mission environments. You will bridge the gap between our engineering team and defense operators to ensure our weather intelligence platform is integrated and utilized effectively in the field.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Deploy our SaaS platform, APIs, and data services into military exercises and mission environments.
- Travel at least 50 percent of the time to customer sites and field experimentation events.
- Build and troubleshoot API integrations for platforms like Palantir Foundry and Gotham.
- Support the Defense Business Development team during pilot programs, technical demonstrations, and discovery phases.
- Cultivate relationships with technical stakeholders and end-users to encourage long-term platform adoption.
- Translate field feedback and operational requirements into actionable insights for our product roadmap.
- Create technical documentation and standardized deployment playbooks for scalable implementations.
- Act as a primary technical advisor to ensure customers achieve measurable operational results.
Requirements
- 4 to 8 years of experience in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Engineering or Forward Deployed Engineering.
- Proven ability to deploy cloud-based software, APIs, and SaaS products in external environments.
- Proficiency in managing data workflows and performing technical troubleshooting.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both non-technical operators and engineering teams.
- Must hold an active TS/SCI security clearance or have held one previously with the ability to regain it.
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced, dynamic settings.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected individual due to export control regulations.

- Experience working with defense, government, or mission-critical programs.
- Familiarity with Palantir Foundry, Gotham, or AIP.
