Senior Product Engineer

About the role

Together AI is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to join the central Product Engineering team, focusing on critical revenue-generating user interfaces for enterprise clients. This role involves developing features for spend controls, pricing displays, payment management, and contract surfaces. You will work closely with product, design, and backend engineers to deliver impactful improvements efficiently.

What you'll do

• Manage the Commerce frontend layer from end-to-end, including API consumption, typed interface creation, and delivering polished user experiences.
• Deconstruct complex product and business needs into an iterative roadmap and execute implementations independently.
• Advocate for an excellent customer experience across commerce surfaces by identifying friction points and turning issues into improvement opportunities.
• Create reusable, well-typed React components for Together's UI Platform and component library to accelerate future Commerce work.
• Instrument, measure, and confirm the success of your features using data-driven metrics like product analytics, web vitals, and error rates.
• Address edge cases, error states, and failure modes relevant to commerce, such as payment issues, quota overages, and billing inconsistencies.

Requirements

• 4+ years of frontend engineering experience building and deploying production features for users.
• Strong proficiency in React fundamentals, especially with complex, stateful UIs.
• Strong TypeScript skills, including designing clear typed interfaces across components, API boundaries, and application state.
• Consistent observability practices: instrumenting, monitoring, and using data to guide improvements for shipped features.
• Ability to understand complex product and business requirements and translate them into correctly sequenced frontend implementations.
• Fluency in consuming APIs: reading schemas, understanding data shapes, handling loading and error states, and building typed web app interfaces without relying on backend engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience with Next.js, Tailwind, and shadcn/ui.
• Experience with billing, payments, or usage-based pricing UIs, including Stripe SDKs, metering displays, subscription states, checkout flows, or enterprise invoicing.

Practical notes

The US base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $230,000, plus equity and benefits. Compensation is determined by location, level, and individual experience. Together AI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
