About the role
In this role, you will play a vital role in our Talent Acquisition team, focusing on attracting and recruiting top talent for Toast. You will oversee the entire recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience while adapting to the evolving hiring needs of the organization. You will act as a strategic advisor to the Sales and Customer Success leadership, aligning talent acquisition initiatives with specific business objectives and growth plans. This position requires a proactive approach to identify market trends and competitive landscapes to ensure Toast remains an attractive employer. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust pipeline of high-potential candidates through targeted sourcing strategies. Ultimately, you will drive successful hiring outcomes that directly support the commercial goals of the go-to-market organization.

What you'll do
- Analyze and manage the full recruitment lifecycle for Sales and Customer Success roles to ensure timely and high-quality hires.
- Source and evaluate a high volume of candidates using advanced search techniques and our Applicant Tracking System to identify top talent.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand evolving requirements and translate business needs into precise position profiles.
- Conduct insightful interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate capability and cultural alignment with Toast values.
- Utilize recruitment analytics and metrics to measure sourcing effectiveness and optimize hiring strategies continuously.
- Manage competing priorities and adapt to shifting business demands while maintaining a high standard of candidate care.
- Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to build diverse talent pools for critical GTM positions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Sales and Customer Success hiring trends to provide guidance to stakeholders.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and equal employment opportunity guidelines.
- Foster collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams to share best practices and improve overall talent acquisition.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates and manage expectations throughout the hiring process.
- Evaluate the success of hires through post-placement reviews to refine future recruitment efforts.
- Leverage technology and automation to improve the efficiency and scalability of the recruitment function.
- Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives to build a more representative and equitable candidate pipeline.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, along with a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience demonstrating success in recruiting for sales and customer success roles.
- Extensive experience in high-volume recruiting, effectively partnering with hiring managers across various Sales and Customer Success roles.
- Ability to analyze recruitment data and metrics to influence hiring strategies and drive evidence-based decision-making.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the capability to convey insights clearly to diverse audiences.
- Proven track record of thriving in fast-paced and ambiguous situations, showcasing strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Familiarity with Greenhouse as an Applicant Tracking System is preferred for streamlined processes.
- Experience in recruiting sales talent within a SaaS environment is preferred to navigate specific industry requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic remote setting.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive candidate information with integrity.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the ever-evolving recruitment field.
- Understanding of employment laws and regulations relevant to remote work in the United States is essential.
