About the role

The Emerging Product Engineering Team acts as an internal incubator for new US market ventures. We focus on rapid iteration and building products from the ground up to support the growth of the TikTok USDS ecosystem.

What you'll do

• Design and deploy high-concurrency production services.
• Optimize system performance and reliability to handle heavy traffic loads.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines while integrating monitoring and logging solutions.
• Lead technical design reviews to resolve technical debt and plan future architecture.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 1 year of professional software engineering experience in a collaborative team environment.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.

Nice to have

• Experience with microservices architecture, distributed systems, and concurrent programming.
