During my internship at Abey M Thomas & Co., I assisted the accounting team with day-to-day financial and bookkeeping activities. My responsibilities included verifying financial records, comparing ledgers with trial balances, preparing and organizing Excel worksheets, performing data entry, assisting with GST-related workings, identifying discrepancies between draft and final trial balances, and maintaining accurate financial data.
Through these tasks, I strengthened my skills in Microsoft Excel, attention to detail, financial reporting, and accounting documentation while gaining practical exposure to professional accounting practices.
