Senior Systems Support Engineer

You will ensure the stability and operational efficiency of complex application systems while driving incident management and DevOps initiatives. What you'll do

• Manage incident resolution processes and utilize monitoring metrics to perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Debug and troubleshoot business-impacting issues within complex application environments.
• Implement continuous delivery practices to support software evolution and value delivery.
• Utilize logging techniques for effective alerting and monitoring.
• Deploy and manage software using DevOps tools and methodologies.
• Mentor junior team members and advocate for technical excellence.
• Apply insights from the Technology Radar to address client challenges.
• Participate in a 24/7 rotation-based support schedule.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java or .Net and scripting languages such as Python or Powershell.
• Understanding of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of architectural patterns such as microservices, serverless, monolithic, N-tier, and layered systems.
• Experience with relational databases like MS SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, as well as non-relational database systems.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure pipelines).
• Experience with monitoring tools such as DataDog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Ability to perform high-quality bug fixes and code enhancements.
• Experience working with Agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to share expertise via blogs, open source, or speaking engagements.
• Commitment to implementing security and cloud best practices regarding resource optimization and monitoring.
