Lead Developer(NextJS/NodeJS)

You will serve as a primary client contact, balancing high-level strategy with hands-on technical execution to deliver complex software solutions. This role requires you to lead teams through the full development lifecycle while fostering an inclusive culture of mentorship and technical excellence.

What you'll do

• Oversee software delivery from initial concept through production evolution.
• Write clean, reusable code using pair programming, TDD, and established design patterns.
• Integrate AI technologies purposefully across the development lifecycle to improve quality and efficiency.
• Design pragmatic solutions that account for project constraints and business requirements.
• Advocate for DevSecOps practices and shift security left within the development process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teammates to build features, prototypes, and UX-focused designs.
• Mentor team members and promote continuous growth within an inclusive environment.
• Maintain a hands-on coding role while applying insights from the Technology Radar.

Requirements

• 10+ years of full-stack development experience, specifically with Next.js and Node.js.
• Proficiency in modern Object-Oriented technology.
• Demonstrated experience leading software teams using Agile or Lean methodologies.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies and their strategic application in technical projects.
• Experience with continuous delivery, TDD, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into actionable software requirements.
• Must be a Singapore Citizen or PR of Singapore due to client security clearance requirements.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with functional programming, event-driven architecture, or platform engineering.
