Finance Manager - Germany

About the role

This role supports the Global Controllership team by managing financial operations for European entities, specifically Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. You will oversee statutory audits, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with internal teams to maintain accurate financial reporting.

What you'll do

• Lead local statutory audits, prepare financial statements, and manage auditor communications.
• Oversee statutory filing timelines for multiple European entities.
• Collaborate with the Europe Controllership and FP&A teams to execute the month-end close process.
• Manage SOX controls and implement internal procedures to reduce fraud risk.
• Coordinate with regional finance teams and the India Shared Services Team to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Travel occasionally to Germany as required.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional accounting experience with a focus on audit and financial control.
• Qualified accountant status.
• Fluency in both German and English.
• Deep expertise in US GAAP, IFRS, and HGB accounting standards.
• Proactive approach to identifying accounting risks and developing cross-functional solutions.
• Experience with local German accounting practices.

• Familiarity with AI or automation applications within the finance and accounting sectors.
