What you'll do

• Promote and implement engineering best practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), pair programming, and design patterns.
• Represent Thoughtworks' technical expertise and thought leadership to clients and internally.
• Serve as a reliable technical consultant to clients by building relationships and understanding market trends.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and lead organizational changes.
• Evaluate client needs, develop account strategies, and create proposals to deliver value.
• Articulate the impact of our delivery in relation to client goals and initiatives.
• Ensure consistent value delivery through high-performing teams and proactive risk management with clients.
• Foster the growth of Thoughtworkers by encouraging feedback and cultivating an inclusive team environment.
• Guarantee compliance with security, privacy, and legal standards across accounts.

Requirements

• Proven history of managing the scope and structure of work programs.
• Experience with account management, third-party contracts, client relations, pre-sales activities, client reporting, and up-selling.
• Ability to lead meetings, prepare reports, offer technical sales support, and manage budgets.
• Willingness to assist delivery teams as needed.
• Knowledge of delivery methodologies including TDD, continuous integration, pairing, and infrastructure automation.
• Natural ability to build and maintain relationships with senior organizational leaders.
• Excellent capacity for context-switching.
• Thrives in situations with minimal direction, capable of leading, organizing, and delivering commitments on time and within budget.
• Resilient in ambiguous situations, able to adapt roles to address challenges from various angles, and skilled at managing risks.
• Empathetic, using this trait to build strong working relationships and resolve issues quickly and thoughtfully.
