You will join a collaborative team to design and build software solutions that address complex client challenges. This role involves working alongside designers, analysts, and project managers to deliver high-quality, iterative code that creates meaningful business impact.

What you'll do

• Develop clean, reusable code using Test-Driven Development (TDD) and design patterns.
• Utilize continuous delivery practices to provide value to end users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build features, prototypes, and innovative customer experiences.
• Advocate for and demonstrate DevOps culture while partnering with other technologists.
• Apply insights from the Thoughtworks Technology Radar to solve specific client problems.
• Take ownership of project deliverables and contribute to team-wide quality standards.

Requirements

• Two or more years of professional development experience.
• Backend development proficiency using Java and Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming.
• Experience with Agile, Lean, and Continuous Delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with TDD, continuous integration, and continuous delivery tools.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies including AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Ability to thrive in a non-hierarchical, collaborative environment.
• Must possess work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Practical notes

• This position requires physical presence in the office 3 days per week in either Raleigh, NC or San Jose, CA.
