About the role
You will own the strategic direction and commercial success of a portfolio of enterprise clients across the Asia Pacific region. This role requires you to act as the primary executive voice for Thought Machine, ensuring that the company's vision for modern banking is clearly articulated and embraced by key stakeholders. You will translate complex technological capabilities into compelling business narratives that resonate with C-suite leaders. Your work will directly influence the growth trajectory of the bank's most strategic accounts. You will be responsible for identifying and capitalising on expansion opportunities that drive deeper product adoption. You will foster a consultative partnership that positions Thought Machine as an indispensable advisor to the client's leadership. Ultimately, you will be the guardian of the client relationship, ensuring that every interaction reinforces our commitment to excellence and long-term collaboration.
Key facts
What you'll do
Develop and execute sophisticated annual account plans that align with both Thought Machine's strategic objectives and the client's evolving business priorities.
Establish and nurture trusted advisor relationships with key account stakeholders, including business leaders, technology officers, operations managers, and executive sponsors.
Serve as the central point of contact between the client and Thought Machine, ensuring all communications are clear, consistent, and aligned with the client's strategic goals.
Collaborate seamlessly with internal delivery, product, and support teams to guarantee exceptional client satisfaction and the on-time, on-budget delivery of projects.
Provide clear, concise, and regular updates on initiative progress to both internal and external stakeholders, proactively managing expectations and risks.
Monitor and analyse client product usage data and key account metrics to identify trends, forecast revenue opportunities, and drive net new revenue growth.
Coordinate closely with bank delivery partners to ensure service levels consistently exceed client expectations and reinforce the value of the Thought Machine partnership.
Assist clients in crafting compelling internal and external communications, including system demonstrations, executive presentations, workshops, and business case development.
Champion the adoption of Vault Core technology within client organisations by articulating its benefits and best practice implementation strategies.
Identify and qualify new business opportunities within existing accounts, working with sales and solutions teams to develop tailored value propositions.
Manage the end-to-end commercial lifecycle of key accounts, from initial engagement through to contract renewal and expansion.
Leverage your deep understanding of banking operations to anticipate client needs and deliver proactive, solutions-focused account management.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, ensuring a healthy flow of deals that contribute to sustainable revenue growth.
Act as a subject matter expert on Thought Machine's product suite, providing guidance and support to internal teams throughout the sales and delivery cycles.
Requirements
You possess a proven track record of enhancing client engagement, driving revenue growth, and identifying and capitalising on new opportunities within existing accounts.
You have a strong ability to build and maintain deep, trust-based client relationships, including demonstrable experience managing high-level stakeholders up to and including executive sponsors.
You have a comprehensive understanding of banking organisations, their cultures, markets, and the complex operational dynamics that govern their day-to-day functions.
You have previous, hands-on involvement in technology transformation projects within financial institutions, coupled with substantial experience in relationship or account management within a banking context.
You have a familiarity with Vault Core technology and associated concepts, allowing you to engage with clients knowledgeably and discuss implementation details effectively.
You have a solid knowledge of financial products and key business metrics within the banking industry, such as cost-income ratios and net interest margin.
You have significant experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, with meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.
You possess excellent negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills, enabling you to influence at all levels of a large financial organisation.
You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly and problem-solving is a daily requirement.
