About the role
Thinkingbox seeks a proactive Studio Coordinator to manage daily operations. This role involves hands-on support across production, IT, and general studio functions. You will ensure all spaces, tools, and equipment are organized and ready for use.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Serve as the main point of contact for studio operations, keeping spaces functional and prepared for production.
- Set up and troubleshoot various equipment, including monitors, workstations, peripherals, and camera gear.
- Provide basic IT support for both Mac and PC environments, covering hardware setup and issue resolution.
- Manage studio inventory, including cables, adapters, tools, and production equipment.
- Organize and maintain physical assets, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and accessibility.
- Assist production teams with shoot setup, teardown, and general logistical support.
- Coordinate with different teams to address daily needs, from minor fixes to larger operational tasks.
- Identify and resolve issues quickly and independently.
Requirements
- Ability to identify tasks and take initiative without explicit instruction.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities across IT, production, and studio needs.
- Comfortable with physical tasks such as setting up equipment, moving items, cleaning, organizing, and troubleshooting.
- Confident in supporting various functions, including basic IT, production, and logistics.
- Service-oriented, willing to assist team members with tasks of all sizes.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to maintain order in spaces, tools, and inventory while working efficiently.
- Eager to learn and gain exposure to multiple business areas.
- Strong understanding of physical IT setups, including monitors, screen resolutions, and connectivity.
- Familiarity with various cables, adapters, and hardware (HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-C).
- Comfortable working with both Mac and PC systems.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and basic technical problems.
- Ability to lift and move equipment and maintain studio organization.
Nice to have
- Experience in a studio or production environment.
- Familiarity with camera equipment and on-set support.
- Exposure to creative, production, or agency settings.
