The Senior Data Consultant is an experienced consulting professional. This role leads complex data, analytics, AI, and cloud transformation engagements. The Senior Data Consultant serves as a trusted advisor to clients. The role combines consulting excellence, business acumen, technical expertise, delivery leadership, and people development. The goal is to deliver measurable business outcomes and strengthen long-term client partnerships.
Senior Data Consultants independently lead projects and multiple workstreams. They guide cross-functional delivery teams, manage client relationships, and solve complex business and technical challenges. They ensure delivery excellence with minimal oversight. They demonstrate structured thinking, sound judgment, and accountability. Proactive leadership is required to consistently deliver high-quality solutions. These solutions align with client objectives and AHEAD delivery standards.
Beyond client delivery, this role contributes to Data Practice growth. Mentoring, business development, innovation, and continuous improvement are part of this contribution.
What You Will Do
You own the full arc of data initiatives. This spans initial discovery through solution validation. You shape how enterprises advance their digital goals. You translate ambiguous briefs into clear pathways. You balance analytics, infrastructure, and delivery expectations with steady guidance. You act as a client ally. You align technical choices with business outcomes. You develop your practice over time.
Specific responsibilities include orchestrating intake sessions. These sessions clarify goals and constraints before model or pipeline work begins. You design cloud foundations and analytics blueprints. These connect data platforms with measurable business targets. You prototype automation flows and analytic artifacts. This tests assumptions and refines scope with stakeholders. You coordinate reviews with clients and internal teams. This verifies quality, coherence, and alignment with standards.
You ship solutions into production environments. You monitor behavior and document patterns for future use. You partner with ecosystem collaborators on integration details, data contracts, and ongoing value tracking. You translate complex technical concepts into plain language. You communicate with diverse audiences across time zones and organizational levels. You mentor newer colleagues on methods, expectations, and craftsmanship. You support the evolution of the Data Practice.
Requirements
You must bring at least three years of experience. This experience guides data, analytics, and cloud-related initiatives. You need a strong grasp of automation patterns, analytics methods, and contemporary cloud service offerings. You communicate effectively with executives and practitioners. You maintain structured thinking under pressure. You are accountable for end-to-end delivery quality. You build client trust and adhere to defined standards with minimal oversight.
Compensation and Location
Location: USA
Engagement: Full-time.
Compensation: $160,000 to $220,000.
