Systems Administrator at Think Together.
About the role
Think Together is seeking a technical professional to manage our internal infrastructure and support our network operations across California. You will handle system maintenance, security protocols, and hardware deployments while acting as an escalation point for our support desk team.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Configure, install, and maintain network hardware, servers, and software applications.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access across all organizational systems.
- Monitor system health, security, and performance including firewalls, anti-virus, and endpoint protection.
- Oversee backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and project support to Tier I and II technicians.
- Document internal processes and create technical guides for staff.
- Administer mobile device and application management systems.
- Track infrastructure growth and recommend system improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and work history.
- Proficiency in Active Directory, group policy management, and domain controllers.
- Experience with server installation, configuration, and backup verification.
- Strong knowledge of networking equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Competency in Microsoft Office, Office 365, and remote connectivity tools.
- Ability to travel to various locations throughout Southern and Northern California.
- Must pass a Live Scan fingerprint background check and provide a clear TB test.
Nice to have
- Experience with VMWare, Ubiquiti, and Linux.
- Proficiency in Intune, Azure, and O365 administration.
