Key facts
What you'll do
- Produce wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and final design assets.
- Influence product strategy by identifying key user needs and asking critical questions.
- Execute user research and design testing to inform your work.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, SEO strategists, and content editors to move projects from initial concept to launch.
- Assess technical constraints and project trade-offs alongside engineering and product leadership.
- Guide design projects while maintaining visual and functional consistency.
- Monitor the competitive landscape of sports media and news apps to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Help maintain and evolve our internal design system.
Requirements
- Proven track record of shipping design solutions for both web and native mobile platforms.
- A portfolio demonstrating high-level visual and interaction design capabilities.
- Deep familiarity with the sports media industry and a clear vision for improving sports-focused digital products.
- Experience working within a collaborative team environment, providing and receiving constructive design feedback.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Professional experience collaborating with cross-functional partners and stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with prototyping and animation techniques to communicate complex design ideas.
- A history of contributing to multidisciplinary design studios.

- Annual base salary: $135,000 to $155,000 USD, with potential for variable pay, bonuses, and restricted stock.
