About the role

You will design, build, and own the production-grade cloud infrastructure that powers Tessera Labs' multi-agent AI systems across enterprise environments. This role gives you direct responsibility for the foundational platforms that enable customer deployments on strict security and compliance mandates. You will own critical architectural decisions that reduce integration risk and standardize operational practices across hyperscalers. The position requires deep collaboration with product and platform teams to ensure infrastructure never becomes a bottleneck to shipping. You will have real ownership over reliability, observability, and security for systems that run on major cloud providers. This is a hands-on, senior IC track role for someone who enjoys solving complex systems problems with extreme ownership. Your work will directly support the mission of bringing fast, precise, and measurable AI automation to enterprise customers worldwide.

What you'll do

Design, build, and maintain production-grade cloud infrastructure for Tessera Labs.

Be part of a team that supports infrastructure across every cloud provider used by enterprise customers.

Design, build, and operate Tessera's multi-cloud infrastructure across Azure, GCP and Oracle.

Enable portable infrastructure that works consistently in customer environments and reduces integration risk.

Improve observability, security, and system reliability to meet strict enterprise compliance requirements.

Deploy and operate applications using Kubernetes and Terraform as core infrastructure-as-code tools.

Partner closely with product and platform engineers to unblock delivery and accelerate feature development.

Design and build CI/CD pipelines, owning the end-to-end automation of build, test, and deployment workflows.

Build and maintain a reusable automation framework for DevOps and developer workflows, including environment provisioning, secret rotation, dependency updates, compliance checks, and release management.

Automate operational runbooks and recurring processes, identifying manual work across the engineering organization and systematically eliminating it through scripts and self-service tooling.

Champion an automation-first mindset across the team, ensuring that any process done twice is automated and maintained like production code.

Implement infrastructure patterns that balance developer velocity with the governance required for enterprise deployments.

Contribute to the reliability and portability of the infrastructure layer so product teams can focus on AI capabilities.

Continuously evaluate new tools and practices to keep Tessera's infrastructure at the frontier of applied AI operations.

Requirements

Must have 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with a strong track record in production environments.

Must have hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code management across multiple cloud platforms.

Must have hands-on experience with Kubernetes for deploying, operating, and troubleshooting containerized workloads.

Must have strong hands-on experience with multiple Cloud providers, including Azure, GCP, and Oracle.

Must have a proven track record designing and owning CI/CD systems, pipeline architecture, GitOps-driven deployments, release automation, and pipeline-as-code practices.

Must have experience building automation frameworks for DevOps and developer workflows, including scripting in Bash, Python, or similar languages, workflow orchestration, and self-service tooling.

Must understand strong networking fundamentals as they apply to cloud-native and distributed systems.

Must have proven experience deploying and operating real production systems that meet enterprise security and compliance standards.

Nice to have

Experience with FluxCD or other GitOps controllers such as ArgoCD to strengthen declarative delivery practices.

Understanding of cloud security and DevSecOps, including integrating security gates, SBOM generation, and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines.

A passion for and curiosity about clean, unified infrastructure and established best practices across cloud platforms.
