Electrical Engineer, PCB Design

About the role

Tenstorrent is building high-performance AI hardware and RISC-V CPUs. We are seeking engineers to manage the full lifecycle of complex, high-speed circuit boards for our server and desktop platforms.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Lead the architecture, schematic design, and layout of multi-layer PCBs from initial concept to mass production.
• Coordinate with mechanical and thermal engineering teams to ensure hardware reliability and manufacturability.
• Manage technical communication with manufacturing partners and ODMs to facilitate production.
• Improve internal design workflows and engineering best practices.
• Debug and optimize board performance to meet thermal, power, and signal integrity requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Practical experience in high-speed PCB design.
• Proficiency in schematic design for high-speed interfaces such as PCIe Gen5/6, GDDR6/7, or 100/400/800 GbE.
• Understanding of signal integrity and layout challenges associated with high-speed systems.
• Experience using Allegro or System Capture ECAD software.

Nice to have

• Experience working with Altium Designer.
